Bonus…

Chairman Bingaman supports Chairman Boxer’s efforts to strengthen and improve the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) in her mark of the Kerry/Boxer climate bill.  By creating a feedstock neutral requirement for “advanced green biofuels,” Sen. Boxer has leveled the playing field for emerging feedstocks, pathways and technologies.  Sen. Bingaman has recognized the need for this kind of RFS improvement since 2007, and he highlighted the issue again in an op-ed this summer in POLITICO.
