On Monday, August 6, the full committee will hold a field hearing on gasoline prices and margin dynamics within the state of Vermont.  Witnesses include Ben Brockwell, director of data, Oil Price Information Service, Wall, NJ; Rob Leuck, vice president and regional manager, Costco Wholesale, Sterling, VA; Joe Choquette III, external affairs manager, Vermont Petroleum Association, Montpelier, VT; James Coutts, director, Franklin County Senior Center, St. Albans, VT; and Gail Horne, owner, Keelers Bay Variety Store, South Hero, VT.  (Contois Auditorium in the Burlington City Hall, 149 Church St., Burlington, VT at 2:00 p.m.)

On Wednesday, August 15, the full committee will hold a field hearing to discuss the recent Colorado wildfires, focusing on lessons learned that can be applied to future suppression, recovery and mitigation efforts.  Witnesses will be added to the website. (University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Centennial Room 203, 1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO at 10:00 a.m.)

On Friday, August 17, the full committee will hold a field hearing to examine the current and future impacts of climate change on the Intermountain West, focusing on drought, wildfire frequency and severity, and ecosystems.  Witnesses will be added to the website.  (Santa Fe Community College, 6401 Richards Ave., Room 216 Lecture Hall, West Wing of the Main Building, Santa Fe, NM at 10:00 a.m.)
