The Environmental Protection Agency last week published a list of seven different proposed boutique gasoline types that it will consider in compiling the final list of approved boutique fuels. The energy bill required the EPA to create and publish a list of existing boutique fuels in order to establish a cap on the number of boutique fuels. The result of will be an increase in gasoline supply by stopping the proliferation of expensive regional boutique fuels and reducing the costs of refining gasoline.
