Manchin Statement On Brouillette Confirmation

Washington, DC - Today, the U.S. Senate voted to confirm Mr. Dan Brouillette to be Secretary of Energy by a vote of 70-15. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), Ranking Member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, released the following statement on his confirmation. 

 "I'm pleased to join my Senate colleagues in voting to confirm Mr. Brouillette to be our next Secretary of Energy. Today marks the third time the Senate has voted to confirm Mr. Broulliette in a bipartisan manner. With experience on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, the Department of Energy and USAA, Mr. Brouillette is well-qualified to lead the Department of Energy. I look forward to working with him to advance our energy innovation agenda and bring the Appalachian Storage Hub to fruition," Ranking Member Manchin said.
