WASHINGTON – U.S. Senators Jeff Bingaman and Frank H. Murkowski today announced that they have scheduled confirmation hearings on Thursday, January 18, 2001 for Energy Secretary- designate Spencer Abraham and Interior Secretary-designate Gale Norton. Abraham and Norton will be the only witnesses at their respective hearings.
Abraham’s hearing will begin at 9 a.m. in SD-106.
Norton’s hearing will begin at 2 p.m. in SD-106.
