In a short business meeting off the Senate floor tonight, the Senate Energy Committee voice voted the nomination of Jon Wellinghoff to be a member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (a reappointment). Wellinghoff’s nomination now is eligible for consideration by the full Senate.
Because of tonight’s action, ENR’s business meeting scheduled for Wednesday is cancelled.
