This notice is to advise you of a hearing before the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. The hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 9:30 am in room 366 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, DC.
The purpose of the hearing is to examine how the BLM land use planning process under the Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA) affects permitting for energy, mining, grazing, and infrastructure projects on public lands.
The hearing will be webcast live on the Committee’s website, and an archived video will be available shortly after the hearing concludes. Witness testimony will be available on the website at the start of the hearing.
